Eye rolls are a thing of the past. Jessica Lange's body language in response to a question about Lady Gaga's upcoming stint on American Horror Story spoke for itself.
The two-time Oscar winner, 65, joined the American Horror Story panel at PaleyFest in Hollywood last weekend, where she also confirmed that Freak Show was her final season in the creepy FX anthology.
"I've had a great run here," Lange told Us Weekly
and other reporters. "I have absolutely loved to play these four
characters that I've had the opportunity to play. I love the writers, my
actors, and Ryan [Murphy], and the whole insanity of it."
While Lange graciously thanked show creator Murphy and fans for the
experience of starring on the smash show throughout the panel, one
particular question clearly irked the storied actress.
She was asked: "Does Gaga convince you to stay for another season?"
A stone-faced Lange slowly chuckled to herself and innocuously
responded: "What does that mean? ...I don't understand the question."
She shrugged her shoulders, stopped mid-sentence, and all she did was roll her head elegantly from the left side to the right.
"Ha," she concluded while the audience and panel laughed in response to her not-so-subtle shade.
Watch her epic head roll above! AHS: Hotel is set to premiere in fall 2015 on FX.
